As a Glass Drop Ball Test Manufacturer, we continue to share with you the types of safety glass.
The semi-tempered laminated glass is a semi-tempered laminated glass formed by sandwiching two pieces of semi-tempered glass. In the case of such a glass, the glass will be broken into large pieces like the annealed glass. However, after the glass breaks, the fragments of the glass will adhere firmly to the transparent bonding material without splashing or falling. Similarly, if the glass has a full frame and the impact of the rupture is not very strong, the likelihood of large pieces falling is also small.
The tempered laminated glass is a tempered laminated safety glass formed by sandwiching two pieces of tempered safety glass. When broken, the glass will be broken into small particles of obtuse angle. The pieces will adhere firmly to the transparent bonding material and are not easily injurious. However, in the case where the two pieces of glass are also broken, the entire laminated glass may fall out of the frame.
In contrast, float plate glass, single-piece semi-tempered glass (heat-reinforced glass), single-piece wire glass, etc. are not classified as safety glass, and the entire glass crack propagates from the point of impact to the edge when it is broken. Radial scattered pieces, sharp fragments, easy to hurt people.
